This was one of the most successful, well presented guidelines I ever saw. The way the explain design in written and visual language was very good.
The main thing was it was designed very well to satisfy designers and very clear to demonstrate ideas to non designers as well.
It was full of examples of how to apply all theses rules in a simple consistent way.
